If you love fun, small town romance, the Finding Love in Alaska series is packed full of that charm—a fun cast of characters, a quirky small town Alaskan setting, and swoony-romances with all the feels. All inspired by the decade the author lived in Alaska.
★★★★★ "This could be Hallmark Alaska." - Amazon Reviewer
Stomach rumbling, Cadence headed downstairs. Ford knowing his way around a grill only added to the growing list of his attractive qualities. She felt giddy about her plans to stay and wanted to tell him right away.
“That was a quick call.” Ford’s voice called to her when her foot hit the last stair. She turned, about to tell him the good news when she spotted him down the hall, rubbing a towel through his wet hair.
Shirtless.
Her mouth went dry.
As he approached, water droplets glistened off his hard muscles, begging her fingers to touch them. “I haven’t started the grill yet.”
The grill. Lunch. Focus Cadence.
“I’ll help.” The words came out as a squeak. Cadence cleared her throat and tried again. “I can help.”
Ford stopped in front of her, their height the same with her on the bottom stair. She focused on the gold flecks in his eyes to avoid staring at other body parts. To ignore the way his jeans slung low on his hips. “Was there something else?”
“Hmm?”
“You looked like there was something you wanted to tell me.”
“Oh, yes!” She was doing it again. Squeaking like a nervous teenager talking to her crush. Thrown off her equilibrium by his proximity. She could so easily comb her fingers through his beard from where she stood. “It’s official. I’m extending my stay through the end of the week.”
The smile that lit up his face was the sheer definition of swoony. He reached a finger to her temple and tucked a lock of hair behind her ear, leaving a trail of heat behind. “That’s great new, Cadence.”
He stepped closer, his gaze turning heated.
She reached for his beard, her fingers nearly grazing it.
Is he going to kiss me?

Moose be love is such a fabulous story. Ed, the moose, is a one wonderful comedic personality in this book. Love will conquer all and love can happen in a moment. It can also happen in a time schedule that you are really blown away by. Read this book and find how true love feels so good like blueberries.
I grabbed this book as a free kindle deal through an email. I just read the synopsis before adding to my cart. Because of how this book came to my attention, I did not do my normal research before deciding if I wanted to read it. I usually prefer spicy romance novels, so I was disappointed at first when I realized this was a sweet romance. The characters and story soon won me over. The MMC Ford is so honest and sweet that it is easy to overlook and forgive his initial deception. He does everything for the right reasons and cares deeply for everyone is his life. The FMC is likewise very sweet. She has inherited a lodge in sunset ridge with her three sisters. They have to decide unanimously what the fate of the lodge will be and she ends up torn between following her heart and going along with what she thinks her sisters want.Despite its lack of spice, I thoroughly enjoyed this book. The small-town Alaskan ambiance is really charming. It gives hallmark vibes without being cloying sweet. It’s what you wish a hallmark movie would be. It depicts a more real version of a small town. Everyone knows everyone and helps each other out, but they also have real life complicated problems. There is also no forced chemistry or relationships just for the plot. Everything flows naturally and makes you feel like you have known these characters your whole life. This was the kind of cozy story that makes you want to be sipping a cup of tea next to a fireplace while it’s raining outside. Great story read on its own, and also a good palate cleanser between spicy reads.
A lovely book set in a place I know nothing about. The descriptions are wonderful and if I never get there, at least I can dream! The story is cute, maybe a little predictable but good, clean and satisfying.
This was an easy read and a pleasant book with enough suspense to keep me interested. I looked forward to reading more each evening. There were no f-bombs in this book. There was no alcohol drinking in this book. The characters were honest, caring people - such a refreshing change from most books I have read lately.I did find 2 or 3 typos, but they were minor and easy to overlook.
This book is lighthearted, romantic and fun. Tessa’s New York life and the reality tv cooking competition adds lots of drama. A long ago love that never stopped is the icing on the cake.
