Will Bark For Pizza: Bluebell Springs Book 1
A Small Town Brother's Best Friend Romance

After a hard breakup and accepting her successful author career is on a downward spiral, all Kira Mason craves is the comfort of her late mom’s hometown bookstore.

Too bad no one warned her it was for sale.

Or that the handsome stranger who saves her from drowning in a nearby lake not only turns out to be her brother’s best friend, but also the man planning to buy it.

Except real estate investor and contractor Beckett Campbell doesn’t want the bookstore; only the building.

It should be easy to hate the man responsible for erasing her mother’s legacy.

Only, the unfairly sexy military veteran has infiltrated her entire family and won them over tenfold. Including her faithful dog who’s dubbed Beckett as his new best friend.

The harder Kira tries to steer clear of the man who served with both of her brothers, the more their paths seem to collide. If only he weren’t so nice, so thoughtful, so caring, so considerate, maybe her heart would remain safe behind the iron fortress she built around it.

Because falling for any man ever again–especially her brother’s best friend–is a risk her battered heart can’t afford to take.

If you enjoy small town romances packed full of heart, heat, and hilarity, with friendships that run deep, family–both blood and found–who always have your back, themes of healing and overcoming, and a loveable four-legged friend who steals the spotlight, then you’ll love this first book in the Bluebell Springs series: Will Bark for Pizza.

Review

the way the author had chapters in Kira's dog huskers perspectives was cute and perfection. The anxiety was well represented,im saying this from what I go threw with anxiety and panic attacks I felt what the character felt. I also loved how the little bit of paranormal was written, I feel that when adding paranormal aspects to a romance book can be difficult and hard, but this was perfect...

More Stars if I Could

More stars if I could!!! The characters of Kira and Beckett were so relatable and the author did a wonderful job allowing us to understand their back story! It was such a fun hometown/brothers best friend romance!!! I think my favorite part was the fact that Husker had his own POV chapters! Caroline, as someone who recently lost their beloved dog as well, thank you for this book and I can’t wait to read the next!

They had a great meet cute, and then she finds out Beckett is her brother’s best friend and her new landlord. I loved that the story contained chapters from Husker the dog’s POV. Super cute! A touching story

I really like Kira. She is a sweetie but needs to restore her confidence and self esteem. I love Beckett. He is protective and sweet and a good person. I hope we get a book for Kira's brother. The book club is fun. I love Husker, Kira's fur baby. The secondary characters bring depth and meaning to the story.I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I recently read Will Bark for Pizza by Caroline Stone. Caroline Stone is a new author. This is the first book in her Blue Bellsprings Series. The book touch upon domestic violence and the main character finding her way to new her. I enjoyed reading the book. This book was long read but really found it be good read.I love the connection Kira has with her home town and how she brought home. I also loved that Kira had furry friend right by herside the whole time. I don't like spoilers so you will need to read the book.I will be interesting reading more in the series. Couldn’t put it down!

I absolutely loved this book! I normally can’t get through books this long but I adored it and picked it up every time I had free time! The storyline is great, brothers best friend trope, adorable dog sidekick, wonderful family, everything was just perfect! The FMC’s friends were so fun, I loved how supportive they were! I love the idea of owning a bookstore, so I connected with that part a lot with this book but Husker really was what I connected to the most! I read most of the book with my own pup, so I just loved Husker chapters! There’s a little spice in it, for those looking for a little something fun.

Small Town Romance

This was by far one of the fastest reads I have done lately. Not because there was no content, but because I fell in love with the characters and the story. I just couldn’t put it down.Kira is an acclaimed author but under a pen name. Beckett is a handyman purchasing up investment properties - and with his eyes on a local bookstore. As their worlds collide in Kira’s small hometown, things get interesting - not to mention Beckett is Kira’s brother’s best friend. And did I mention Husker? Kira’s dog Husker is a well developed character and has funny aside chapters throughout.Slow burn romance with small town drama, this is one book you don’t want to skip.

Small-town charm, brother’s best friend tension, and the cutest dog POV!

This book had me hooked from the very beginning. Kira returns to her late mom’s hometown bookstore for comfort, only to find it’s being sold—and the man buying it just happens to be her brother’s best friend, Beckett. He’s a military vet with a heart of gold, and the slow-burn tension between them was chef’s kiss. The tropes are everything I love:✨ Brother’s best friend✨ Small-town romance✨ Slow burn with a touch of spice✨ Found family vibes✨ And yes… the dog has his own POV (and completely steals the show!)I also thought it was so fun that Caroline Stone writes under multiple pen names—if you’ve read Jacqueline Winters or Kali Hart, you’ll recognize the same warmth and wit here. This story had heart, heat, and plenty of humor, and I was smiling all the way through. I’m already excited for book two in the Bluebell Springs series!

Dog POV? What’s not to love?

Loved this book so much! Small town romance, starting over and realizing you’re stronger than you think. Husked the dogs POV was so me of the best parts! Adorable and featured in all of the book which as an animal lover made me so happy! Spice was just right. Can’t wait for more books by this author

Slow burn

“Will Bark for Pizza” (ARC copy) This is Caroline Stone’s debut novel but, also has other pen names. I loved the story the author told about Kira and Beckett. I’m torn about the chapters from the dog’s point of view. I am looking forward to reading the next book in this series. Caroline Stone is also know as Jacqueline Winters and Kali Hart. I am going to definitely read her other books by these pen names.

Fantastic Read

This book was so so good. It was definitely different from my normal read, but I loved it all the same. The quaint little town, the brothers best friend, the moving home after trauma, finding your true self was so well put together and blended seamlessly. I liked how the families for both the FMC and MMC were included. And of course, Husker. How could you not love him!?!?!?!But honestly this was a good change of pace for me and I truly loved this book. It drew me in quickly and kept me interested until the end. Can't wait for the next one to come out!

slow burn, small town romance with perspectives from the dog

Such a cute little story. Follow Kira, Beckett, and Huskers as they learn about life's challenges and joys in a close-knit town. Having grown up here, Kira had moved away with her ex-boyfriend some years prior. The talented author, using a pen name, has skillfully hidden her identity from the public eye. About a year earlier, when Kira and Trevor, her abusive ex, were in town, Trevor's embarrassing behavior pushed Kira over the edge. Beckett, who served in the army with Kira's brothers, intended to move to the town permanently, to live in a cabin and possibly taking ownership of an old building. He saves a Kira from drowning in a lake, and it's endgame from there. If you adore a slow burn, small town romance with perspectives from the dog, then "Will Bark for Pizza" will surely steal your heart. This is such a cute story, and I'm so glad I got to read it.

Perfect hometown romance!

I finished the book in a day! I could NOT put it down. It had all the elements for a great romance novel! Brother's best friend, a little slow burn, perfect spice, and a little comedy. The mmc was perfection! Respectful on the streets, and a little dominant in the sheets. I loved the growth of the fmc throughout the book. She grew into an empowered woman who learned so much about herself. *chef's kiss*If you're looking for a feel good romance, THIS is the book for you! I cannot wait until the series is complete, because this whole town is full of great characters to build on.I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Omg! I got this book as an arc and I'm so happy I was chosen. If you enjoy slow burn this is the book for you. The subject matter (domestic abuse and manipulation) although very close to home grabbed my attention immediately. The main characters Kira and Beckett are very relatable. I loved the authors spin on the dogs point of view. I also love that the author leaves us wanting more not only about the main characters but also about the their family members. I can't wait to read the next book in the series. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who's looking for an intriguing, charismatic, relayable, heartwarming story with a little spice, emotion and suspense, this is the book for you!

Brother’s best friend and Small town

This was such a fun read and my favorite character was definitely Kira’s dog Husker. He is the best dog ever and I loved the chapters where we got to see his thoughts!Kira is an author who decides to visit her hometown after getting a dream about her mom. Within a few hours of arriving she crosses paths with a hot stranger who helps her after she’s fallen in the lake. This is the beginning of their paths crossing throughout her trip home and many tension filled moments that they try to fight against.Beckett hasn’t had the best relationship with red heads in the past so when he crosses paths with Kira, a redhead, he tells himself he needs to avoid her. However, that is hard to do when she’s got a friendly dog and is frequently need of being rescued. Their encounters are fun, flirty, and filled with tension. I love how sweet he is with Kira and how he goes above and beyond to help her out. Their relation is a bit of a slow burn but their friendship is quick to build. Also love the found family and small town vibes from this story.

ABSOLUTELY YES! Add to TBR now!

The was easily 5 stars for me! I loved the banter between the two main characters, the fact there are mini chapters from Husker (FMC’s dog) that reminded me so much of my own dog it made me laugh, and all of my favorite tropes really made it hit home!-Found family-Slow burn-Mildly forbidden romance-Friends to lovers-And a little return to hometown actionThis book was perfect! There’s mild twists and turns to keep you captivated throughout the book!Side note: I really hope that some side stories come out for some of the secondary characters in this book (such as Opal, Luke, and Connor)! Based on different interactions I feel like their are some stories that need to be told :)HAPPY READING!

Small town romance on a new level!

Omg I was in love from the beginning!!!! I got this book as an arc and I couldn’t put it down!!!! The chemistry between Beckett and Kira is so electric from the beginning! I am a sucker for small town romances and this one was absolutely amazing and on top of that the chapters in Huskers POV was just absolutely perfect! With Kira being a DV survivor and Beckett being the protective hero this book put me in my feels from the start! It is a slow burn but it is worth every second!!!!Caroline Stone makes you feel as though you are witnessing the story first hand! I felt part of the story and in today’s world that’s hard to do! I absolutely loved how she represented trauma, anxiety and healing hearts all in one! This cute love story has many levels not just your basic brother’s best friend romance and it will heal your heart when you are finished. With the help of your furry friends you also won’t be able to put it down!!!
